Because I am almost completely booked, the deadline for making a deposit to hold the session time will be January 31, 2024. If you have not made a deposit by that time, you will be removed from your time slot and it will be offered to other cosplayers to book.
At the time of writing this, I am almost fully booked for all three days of Katsucon. Please make sure that you're a few minutes early for your scheduled session time. If we start late, I will not be able to make up for the time due to the full schedule. Be aware that I will end each session a few minutes early to be able to meet the next cosplayer.
I will NOT be checking social media during shooting hours, so please make a note of my phone number and have it available in order to communicate with me. 814-592-7361 - Text or call close to your scheduled session time if you have concerns about meeting up. I will not answer the phone while I'm working with another client.
When your session time is approaching, let's plan to meet up at the water fountain entrance on the lower atrium level. For those of you who have not been before, when you come down either escalator to the lower level, there will be a main walkway. Smack dab in the middle of the walkway between the escalators will be the entrance way to the fountain. There are maps of the Gaylord Online, or if you aren't sure where the fountain entrance is, just email me and I'll send you an image.
The Gaylord has a ton of great spots to work in, but please understand that some locations get very busy during peak hours and may not be accessible in the time of your session. Getting into the Gazebo area during peak con hours is not likely unless you're willing to wait, and if we wait, we might be limited on the number of photos we get. If the weather is nice, we can shoot outside, but at night and in bad weather we will be forced to work inside. Which means every other photographer will have the same plan. Be prepared with several options for locations and I will do the same for those who have never been to Katsu before.
I'm planning on doing a little research and checking out everyone's cosplay for pose ideas and I am familiar with some cosplays but not with all of them. I would advise you to do a google search for your specific cosplay and find at least 2-3 poses you like. Download them to your phone and have them ready to go for your session.
Once I return home, I will be uploading the images to a proof gallery. I expect this to take about a week after the convention to complete. Once I have all the images uploaded, I will send you a link. You will pick out your favorite images from that gallery and I will edit those selections for color/crop and all the good stuff that needs to be edited. Once the final edits are complete, I will upload them to a google drive folder for you to download.
If anything posted here is unclear or if you have any specific questions you would like to ask, please feel free to contact me via social media, text, or email at any time. I will reply as soon as I can.
